You should seek the help of an academic advisor in selecting your electives. Selecting the wrong electives may lengthen the time it takes to earn your Bachelor’s degree after you transfer. Electives that you may need may not be offered ever semester, so it may be necessary to swap terms and combine or split credits with other electives. 

If a student takes CHM 165  (4 credits) General Chemistry I and CHM 175  (4 credits) General Chemistry II, they will need to have 2 elective credits that are on the General Education Checklist - Math/Science. 

If a student takes CHM 166  (5 credits) General Chemistry I and CHM 176  (5 credits) General Chemistry II, then all elective credits do not need to come from the General Education Checklist.
