FLS 142 - Elementary Spanish II Prerequisites: FLS 141 STANDARD CREDIT TYPE 4 credit(s)
A continuation of FLS 141 that takes a communicative approach to further developing proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish. Students also expand their awareness of Hispanic culture in other countries and in the United States.
Course Learning Outcomes
1. Express ideas using the simple present, present progressive, and preterite tenses. |
2. Identify and use key vocabulary about travel, clothing, personal care, and food. |
3. Understand and use grammatical and syntactical features such as direct and indirect objects, reflexive verbs, comparisons, and superlatives. |
4. Recognize and appreciate cultural information, such as geography, holidays, social customs, artists, writers, and more. |
