This course is designed to provide students with a foundation in algebra. Topics include coordinate geometry, complex numbers, linear, quadratic, and polynomial expressions, functions, graphing, systems of linear equations, exponential and logarithmic expressions, and matrices.
Course Learning Outcomes 1. Utilize algebraic equations and reasoning to solve problems.
2. Evaluate and graph single variable linear, quadratic, and polynomial equations.
3. Solve for the zeros of equations using a variety of methods.
4. Solve problems involving rational expressions and unit conversions.
