Corequisites:
or ENG 109. This co-requisite applies if the student has an ACCUPLACER writing score of 249 or less, or ACT English score of 17 or less

This course is an exploration of writing as a process with attention to audience, purpose, and patterns of exposition. Instruction will also include basic research and documentation skills.

1. Analyze a variety of written, oral, visual, and electronic texts.

3. Create original compositions using the writing process.

4. Apply Standard English conventions appropriate to context.
