MAT 128   or MAT 129  with a passing grade.

 

Corequisites:
MAT 128   or MAT 129  if not previously taken.

Explores the integration of conceptual design, engineering graphics and computer-aided design. This course includes orthographic projection applied to three-dimensional geometry and engineering drawing, as well as instrument and free-hand application to an open-ended project that includes a formal engineering report.



Course Learning Outcomes
  1. Summarize and apply basic concepts of engineering graphics including the overall design process and design information.
  2. Analyze and design solid models using dimensioning, assemblies, and techniques for various methods of analysis. 
  3. Analyze and design multiview drawings, pictorials, and sectional views.
