A continuation of FLG141 with primary emphasis on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Students will continue to learn German pronunciation and vocabulary to be able to converse about their personal lives and also be able to understand when German is spoken to them. Students will further develop an awareness of life and culture in German-speaking countries.
Course Learning Outcomes 1. Comprehend short written and oral texts from a variety of sources.
2. Develop speaking skills by engaging in basic conversations with intonation and syntax of German speakers about personal lives and experiences.
3. With increased fluency, express ideas using correct German word order, grammar, and syntax.
4. Expand their cultural awareness of German-speaking countries.
