Basic treatment: All types of injuries, accidents, wounds, sudden illnesses, and medical emergencies. Includes eight hours of CPR.

Course Learning Outcomes

1. Recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies.

2. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person.

3. Decide whether advanced medical care is needed.
