This course will expose students to theoretical concepts as well as practical applications to develop management skills related to the restaurant industry. The course is service-oriented with emphasis on staff and guest relations.



Course Learning Outcomes
1. Use a positive approach to effectively communicate and provide customer service.
2. Understand and use team building strategies as a means to develop employee relations.
3. Motivate and coach service employees in customer service.
4. Identify the essential customer service needs which must be addressed to be successful in the hosptality industry.
