The student will improve and further their wood structure climbing skills. Powerline hardware and apparatus such as insulators, surge arresters, and transformers will be introduced. Job site safety and hazard mitigation will be emphasized.

Course Learning Outcomes

1. The student will safety climb and perform work on a wooden structure.

2. The student will identify power line hardware and apparatus.

3. The student will analyze a job site, identifying and mitigating any safety hazards.

4. The student will select the proper rigging and load ratings for a particular lifting procedure
