Learn how to emphasize supportive interactions and developmentally appropriate environments. Learn how to use assessment to analyze and guide behaviors, as well as study the impact of families and diversity on child guidance.

Course Learning Outcomes

1. The learner should be able to define emotional literacy and identify activities that build feeling vocabularies.

2. The learner should be able to Break-down the impact of positive relationships, collaboration, problem-solving and supportive interactions among teachers, children and families.

3. The learner should be able to identify multiple influences including family, culture, language and ability that impact each child’s social/emotional development and behavior.
