Fundamental principles of the flow of goods and services from producer to consumer. Buying, selling, transportation, storage, risk-taking, financing, promotion, and marketing information are all studied to determine their importance in the marketing structure.



Course Learning Outcomes
1.  Explain how marketing affects society and business.

2.  Demonstrate practical methods to show how marketing begins with the customer and that only long term relationships are of value to a marketer.

3.  Identify ethical concerns and justify methods to remain ethical.

4.  Explain and apply the marketing mix to a product and to design a plan using the 4 Ps of marketing (Price, Product, Place, Promotion).
