Term One
If you have not met the prerequisites for MAT 210 , taken in Term Two, you must take MAT 128 (4 cr.) or MAT 129 (5 cr.) Pre-Calculus in Term One as a math/science elective. Advising Note One
*You should seek the help of an academic advisor in selecting your electives. Selecting the wrong electives may lengthen the time it takes to earn your Bachelor’s degree after you transfer. Depending on your transfer school and the engineering sub-discipline you plan to major in there are a number of different courses you should take. You will likely need to take at least one of the courses below and there may be others that will help. Also, the elective that you need might not be offered every semester, so it may make sense to swap terms, combine, or split credits with other listed electives. Again, please talk to your Academic Advisor. Examples for Math/Science electives MAT 219 - Calculus III PHY 222 - Classical Physics II EGR 166 - Engineering Graphics and Conceptual Design CHM 175 or CHM 176 - General Chemistry II Advising Note Two
A minimum of 3 credits of General Education Courses from Humanities and 3 credits of General Education Courses from Social/Behaviorial Science must be completed. Total of 8 credits. |
