This course defines the skills within utility technician gas theory including codes, programs, mathematics, tools and operations.



Course Learning Outcomes
1. Students will interpret OSHA and CFR192 codes.
2. Students successfully complete assigned MEA Operator Qualification (OQ) learning and knowledge tests.
3. Students can relate gas laws and gas flow characteristics to measurement calculations.
4. Students will analyze gas system component functions.
5. Students will discover tools and equipment used in the gas industry.
