An exploration of interdisciplinary humanities topics as they relate to the development of human understanding and creation of the arts.
Course Learning Outcomes 1. Analyze and interpret various forms of human expression (art, literature, music, philosophy, and architecture) to understand their cultural and historical significance.
2. Evaluate the contextual influences (social, political, religious, and economic) that shape artistic and creative processes across different periods and regions.
3. Critically compare and contrast the themes, styles, and/or techniques in a range of artifacts from diverse traditions.
4. Communicate ideas through multi-modal projects, using primary and secondary sources.
