CIS 207 - Fundamentals of Web Programming STANDARD CREDIT TYPE 3 credit(s)
This course introduces the student to basic concepts, languages and tools used in the development of an e-commerce website. Students will identify effective design concepts and characteristics of successful websites. They will use current tools and techniques to design and create e-commerce websites.
Course Learning Outcomes
| 1. Plan a website application project. |
| 2. Demonstrate a basic understanding of image manipulation and presentation on a website application. |
| 3. Demonstrate a basic understanding of the current version of HTML. |
| 4. Demonstrate a basic understanding of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and how to use CSS to implement the following effects on a website application. |
| 5. Determine how to publish a website using current HTML editors and demonstrate additions such as making and updating modifications and adding javascript elements. |
