Students will examine the structure of typical C++ programs, explore the concepts of object-oriented programming and design business applications in C++.



Course Learning Outcomes

1. Write, compile, link and execute a simple C++ program to produce a working application.

2. Perform basic C++ syntax, coding structures and operations.
3. Outline the various components of a C++ function and a C++ structure plus demonstrate their use.
4. Analyze the concept of C++ classes and objects and demonstrate their use in program development.
5. Examine the array data type and the use of pointers in C++ in order to build more powerful and quicker programs.
